Bronwyn Sims is an actor, aerialist, choreographer, and educator. She has trained in a wide range of physical and theatrical disciplines. A teacher of Aerial and Circus Arts, Movement Choreographer and Yoga Instructor, Bronwyn is a Lecturer in Acting at Yale School of Drama, and has taught at The University of New Hampshire, University of Florida, SUNY Oneonta, Marlboro College, Colorado College Extraordinary Dance Festival, Colby College, Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, STREB, The Trapeze Loft, Big Sky Works,The Sky Box, Bhava Yoga, Hart Yoga, South Boston Yoga and at New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA). She is the Co Founder and Producing Director of Strong Coffee Stage and has performed on Broadway, in film and on television. Her choreography credits include work with Yale Repertory Theatre, Yale School of Drama, American Repertory Theatre, The Vermont Academy and New England Center for Circus Arts. Her specialties include aerial and acrobatic choreography, gymnastics, partner acrobatics, yoga, inversions, and physical work for the actor. She holds a Certificate in Acting from Circle in the Square Theatre School. She has studied Clown with Christopher Bayes, Mick Barnfather, and Jane Nichols; Lecoq training with Norman Taylor and Richard Crawford; Viewpoints and Suzuki with Anne Bogart and SITI Company; Neutral Mask with Dody Disanto, Jennie Gilrain and Mark McKenna; Yoga teacher training 200hr with Carrie Tyler of Rasamaya Yoga; Jivamukti Vinyasa Yoga with Peter Rizzo; Ashtanga Yoga with Lisa Mendelsund and Doug Swenson; Aerial and Acrobatics training with Elsie Smith and Serenity Smith Forchion of NECCA, Hector Salazar of Chelsea Piers, Sarah East Johnson of LAVA and Tanya Gagne of The Trapeze Lo. Dance training with Brian Green of Broadway Dance Center and Anthony Manuel of Luminz Studio.
