Join Bronwyn, professional actor, acrobat, and aerialist, for a special
workshop for all levels. The class utilizes techniques from yoga, dance,
circus, and gymnastics, implementing them into creative and fun exercises.
The workshop will begin with a gentle but energizing warm up combining yoga
and acrobatic stretches that will help to realign the body and release
tension. Moving into basic tumbling and partner acrobatics. We will also
spend some time inverting and learning the basic tools necessary for doing
and holding a handstand and other inversions.
The workshop will culminate with core abdominal and shoulder conditioning
and strengthening exercises. Sit ups, push ups and partner conditioning and
stretching are all part of this fun and invigorating class!
No previous experience required but having a yoga practice is highly
recommended. There are benefits for all levels...stretching increases
circulation, prevents injury, enhances mood, & promotes improved movement
for all your activities. Core and shoulder strengthening exercises make you
stronger, improve posture, balance the body, and help maintain self
confidence.
